Safety Lines
EZ-Line
The Sala EZ-Line is a horizontal lifeline system, comprised of a flexible line with connectors at both ends for securing it horizontally between two anchorages or anchorage connectors.
These systems are used to protect workers operating in the horizontal plane who may not have continuous access to suitable anchorage points. The EZ-Line has an 18 metre wire rope and unique tensioning system that cannot be overloaded. The EZ-Line is simple to use and can support up to 2 operatives for fall arrest.
FA 60 007 00 Temporary Lifeline
The FA 60 007 00 Temporary Lifeline is used to create an adjustable horizontal lifeline from 2m to 20m in length with a maximum angle of use of 15°.
The webbing is 30mm polyester and is supplied with two steel snap hooks (25kN in strength) and a steel ratchet for tensioning the system. The system has forked ends that either anchor to a structure without an anchorage sling or hang directly on an adapted anchorage point.
It comes with its own inseparable bag for the storage of all elements of the system and any excess strap whilst the unit is in use.
The lifeline system is easy to use, can be used by two people at the same time and conforms to EN795 Class B.
This item will create a drop along its length if personnel fall, you should allow 5 metres of drop for every 10 metres deployed.
Anchor Post for ISO Container
The Anchor Post for ISO Containers is a temporary anchor for working on top of ISO shipping containers.
The unit is strong and easy to transport and can be quickly installed in the top corner casting of ISO 20-foot and 40-foot shipping containers by one person. It comes with a side lock and tag line arrangement and can be removed without damaging the container.
The post was designed to raise the height of the anchorage point in relation to the ground. When installed on a container, it gives the user a vertical clearance of: the container height + post height, or about 2.59 m + 0.95 m = 3.54 m based on the standard dimensions of an ISO shipping container. The height of the container must be verified before the post is used.
The Anchor Post has also been tested with the force directed horizontally so it can be used with a horizontal lifeline stretched between two posts.
The horizontal temporary lifeline can be used by up to 2 people and has a maximum length of 14m. The kernmantel rope is equipped with a tensioner to allow for the tensioning of it between two supports. There are 2m of red rope at each end of the lifeline intended to be used to prevent access to the hazardous areas at the ends of the container.
The lifeline can only be installed along the length of a container.
