Venturi Blower
Venturi blowers are a great way to create air movement through confined spaces. They simply attach to a compressor line and the unit uses the Venturi principle of passing high velocity air through small holes in an outer ring. This then creates an air flow through the cone which then drags far more air with it, creating a very effective flow.
This is very versatile method but can be quite noisy as it does sound a bit like a jet engine so needs to be positioned away from the workforce.
This can be used as a stand-alone item to simply cause a through airflow or be linked to trunking to introduce clean air into the system from outside of the confined space.
These units can be much more productive than a traditional fan and do not pose the same electrical issues.
An optional grounding clamp is available for use with these units for situations where static may cause a problem.

Contractor Ventilator / Air Mover
The Clarke Contractor air mover is a high performance 300mm, 110v ventilator fan. Stale air is rapidly extracted at 3900 m3/h (at optimum efficiency) to give a cleaner working environment. It is suitable for use with:
- 110V generator
- 110V isolating transformer
- 110V site supply
- 230V generator via a 110V transformer.
The ventilator fan can be used with 300mm diameter retractable ducting which is available in 5m lengths.
The fan is not ATEX rated and must not be used in explosive atmospheres such as in the presence of flammable liquids, gasses or dust.
PF400
The PF400 is a 110v air mover, moving 3600 m³/hr, using 300mm diameter ducting in 5m lengths which join easily to form longer lengths.
The fan is not ATEX rated and so must only be used to force air into an explosive atmosphere with the unit being up wind, away from the access hatch if used for confined spaces, it must not be used to extract from a potentially explosive atmosphere.

VAF-300
The VAF-300 is a 110v ventilator and extractor fan that can move up to up to 3400 m³/hr, using 300mm diameter ducting which can be joined together to form longer lengths.
The VAF-300 works on positive and negative airflow and can be used as a stand alone fan for cooling, drying or used with the ducting to inject fresh air or extract contaminated air from confined spaces.
The fan is not ATEX rated and so must only be used to force air into an explosive atmosphere with the unit being up wind, away from the access hatch for confined space use. It must not be used to extract from a potentially explosive atmosphere.
The fan body is made from a dual wall polythene rotational moulding and can withstand the rigours of an industrial setting. The fans can be easily stacked on top of one another for storage and during operation (max. 3 high) which reduces the floor space required.

Ramfan Blower
The Ramfan is a blower with whole-unit certification for ATEX zones 1 and 2 that can be used to either vent or extract fumes from potentially explosive areas. It has a durable anti-static casing which is weatherproof, flame retardant and chemical resistant making it resilient in harsh environments.
The unit can supply free air at 4,250 m³/hour. Flexible antistatic ducts are available in 4.6m and 7.6m lengths which can be joined together to enable you to direct the flow as you need it.

SAF30
The SAF 30 is a portable fan for ATEX approved zones 1 & 2. It’s constructed from an ultra-tough antistatic polymer used with aluminium to deal with arduous and potentially explosive environments.
Airflow is 4,250 m³/hour and the heavy duty motor is continuously rated. Flexible antistatic ducts are available in 5m lengths so that you can direct the flow to where you need it most, the ducts can be joined together using the trunking joint to form longer lengths.
The SAF30, due to its ATEX rating, can be used to either vent or extract fumes from a potentially explosive area. Ideal for ship building, confined spaces, chemical plants, oil refineries, vessels and tanks, the SAF30 is the answer to changing your atmosphere.

For jobs where there is a high risk of damage to your trunking a solution could be to use a disposable option. This layflat polyethylene trunking is supplied in 30m lengths and available in 300mm or 400mm diameters.
Please note this trunking is not ATEX rated.
