Basic Height Safety Course

This course covers how to don a harness along with the correct choice of lanyards and fall arrest blocks. The course is designed to ensure safety of the wearer and understanding of the legislation and equipment available. This also covers the daily inspection checks that the wearer should make. All candiates will sit a written exam in line with our quality procedure.

The course duration is half a day and includes a handout with all topics that are covered on the course.

The Height Safety Certificate issued is valid for a period of 3 years should the candidates achieve a pass.

Advanced Height Safety Course

The fall arrest and working at height Safety Course, covers all aspects of wearing harnesses and lanyards along with their inspection regimes, fall arrestors and their daily inspections, current legislation and how to perform a risk assessment.

At the end of the course the candidate, should they pass, will be deemed as competent to perform the daily checks upon their equipment and evaluate equipment requirements for the task to be done.

They will understand what aims the legislation has and why these are so necessary to ensure workforce safety.

The course duration is one day and includes a handout with all topics that are covered on the course.

The Height Safety Certificate issued is valid for a period of 3 years.
